How true. I made my first post on here about 6 months before the '04 presidential elections. It took all of 2 days to decide to go elsewhere for a while. This site got downright UGLY. I tried again about 2 years back. Seems to be reasonably calm now. And it isn't just this site. Politics has a way of bringing out the worst in some people. I think I'll start stockpiling sand now so's I can stick my head in it during this next round. This upcoming election should prove to be even worse than the last one given the choices we'll have. Unfortunately, dignity, class, integrity, honesty, and common sense can't be aquired. It seems you either have them or you don't. Expecting those who don't have them to learn how is totally unreasonable. Expecting those who DO have them to understand those who don't may be even more unreasonable.
