Hey Migraine, I left Dad's farm in Richmond Yesterday at about 2pm. I was watching the water come up in the ditches and fields all morning. The drains in the yard couldn't take it away fast enough and it was comming into the buildings. I caught the ferry back to my farm on Vancouver Island and was home by 5:30. It rained at my place, but not that bad - I actually mowed the lawn. However the rivers and streams are comming up fast. I thought the the rain would have let up by now on the mainland, but just talked to Dad at 12:30 - 1/2 hour ago, he said it hasn't let up one bit. There's going to be some major dammage to the Pacific North West if this keeps up. Happy Paddleing, I know I will be for a while,Grant.
