I can't believe they opened the transmission but don't worry to much if you have to pay for the labor. It's pretty easy to pop the trans cover off. Especially if they already had the fuel tank off. Should not have taken them very long. I could email you a scan of the clutch from the service manual but it's not going to help them diagnose your clutch problem now. They've done something wrong. Did they replace the pilot bushing? It hard to explan but the clutch sits inside the flywheel. The outside edge of the clutch is probably draging against the inside of the flywheel. You might need a new mechanic. Well if you need help with the steering gear box I'm sure I can help you with that too. I know them very well. It may not be as bad is it seems. If you have any more questions I suggest you post them on the Oliver board. Where are you located?
