I want a 6 spd. I cant say for Chevy or Dodge but my 1999 F 350 7.3 psd with 3.73 gears gets 19 to 21 mpg empty day to day but with overloaded goose neck with a John Deere A and a John Deer G and 1500 lbs of suit case weights it gets 12 to 15 mpg in the hills of north east PA. Two friends have same truck one is a 1999 and the other is 2000 7.3 psd both with 3.73 gears and they both can follow me or chase me down the road which ever and they want and get 14 to 16 mpg and with lighter loaded trailers then mine and get 9 to 12 mpg. With auto tranny. That’s why I want another 6spd. The mpg check by all of us has been to fill it to the brim ourselves and the same with the next fill up that means it was full and the mpg is correct not ¾ full from a pump jockey who did not want to take his time to get the foam out. Having that been said my truck is a one owner / driver truck with 200 thousand on it with 6 stage chip also and have not dune any clutch work or even added oil to the slave cylinder yet. I did ware the pin out in the cab for the clutch cable were it attaches and had to replace the hole pedal at around 150000. North East puller

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
