I like standard myself, I was 19 before I drove my first automatic. My son prefers standard also. My wife can drive standard but doesn't like it. Favorite daughter isn't driving right now because she was clocked by a cop friend of mine at 27 mph in a 15 mph school zone, So I took my Eldorado away from her. She must learn to drive standard before she gets it back. I was always a General Motors man but what they've been offering in the past 15 years as a truck, I've taken to driving Ford trucks. No doubt Toyota won't let down the people who want a standard transmission, they are paying attention. Small wonder the American auto industry is going down the tubes.
