Around here the locals moan, groan, whine, yell and cream. Then get a lawyer. Whole windmill projects have been shut down in Bruce County due to the n.i.m.b.y's. The "reasons" range from eye sore, loss of enjoyment, noise, illness from low frequency vibrations, bird strikes, light strobing and ice slung from blades. The fact also that a neighbour has a windturbine's lease income. The people on the adjacent farms have no lease income and has to look at his neighbour make $$$. Germany loves Holland's windmill generators. During operation the windmills make more power than what Holland can use. The power is sold on the open market to Germnany at bargain prices and Germany burns less $$$ coal. When the wind is still, Holland is short of power and purchase at a premium peak price power from Germany's coal plants.
