I was at an auction last year. I held my number in the air, directly out in front of me, just like it says you are supposed to. There wasn't anyone between me and the auctioneer. There may have been three pallets on the ground that everyone was standing around. Which means we were about ten to twelve feet apart. He said SOLD with out taking my bid. I think my "look" said it all. He knew he screwed up, but it did not change anything except that I yelled the next time I bid on an item. I got it too. If you don't complain to the source of the problem, there will not be anything done differently.
