Everytime I ever did bid early, I lost the item by one bid increment... Yes, now I put my bid in at the last minute, if I am able to.. I have seen some items sold early for much less than I was willing to bid.. Actually, in most cases of closing an auction early, I think the seller usually ends up getting a lot less, than if they had let the auction run until the end.. In fact, if a seller starts getting requests to end an auction early, it often means it is a very valuable item, and someone wants to get a steal on it, before other bidders discover it.. So, often the seller is the real loser..
