Doing a major out of frame on a 97' NPR-HD w/ 4BD2T, and need the torque specs for the main brg. caps, rod caps, cyl. head, flywheel, and that un-Holy nut for the harmonic dampner. Also, what is the difference between GM liners with different part #'s and those code letters stamped on the top of the block, and 'universal replacement' Isuzu liners that carry only 1 part number? I know this is off tractor topic, but I always like to start here, because there is such a vast number of mechanics that post here. Any help appreciated, or directions where I can ask these questions. E-mail welcome. Thanx; Tom S. in Tn.
