BCS (MOSA) made two wheel walk behind tractors with single cylinder diesel engines until a few years ago. They could power a rear tined tiller attachment or, by rotating the handlebars around 180 degrees, they could power front attachments such as rotary mowers, snowblowers, brooms, brush cutters, etc. The new ones today are powered with either Itek or Honda engines. They have a dealer directory on their website. You might be able to find a used one with a diesel somewhere.
