Its accually not bad at all. Although I will admit that it seems to get hotter each year we go down. You really should make an effort to see it at night, and if possible go down, if even just for the evening, on the 4th of July and go out to the Yorktown and watch the fireworks from there on the bridge. Last year, they opened up the Yorktown just for this night until about 9:30 and then they had their own fireworks off of the Yorktown, which they do every year.
