Jim, the only Winchesters that have any real signicant value based on the pre 1964 were the bolt action center fire Model 70 rifles, because in 1964 Winchester re-designed the boltaction reciever on the model 70...Couple years ago Winchester has started manufacturing the pre 1964 model 70 center fire rifles again.HTH Keith

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
