Kyle, Personally, I shy away from any gas engine oils labelled "Energy Conserving", due to the reduction of the anti-wear additive ZDDP in these oils. Diesel engine oils with an API classification CF, CF-2 or CF-4 has anti-wear packages that offer more protection than "Energy Conserving" rated oils, especially for engines equipped with slipper-type valve tappets. Any name brand diesel oil - Shell Rotella, Mobil Delvac, Valvoline All Fleet, Texaco Ursa, etc. will be CF rated. We use Shell Rotella SAE 30 in our older gas tractors, Rotella 15-40 in the diesels and Rotella 10-30 in our gas pickups and cars. I hope this is helpful. Scott
