Some of the baddies place themselves in 3 different areas of your computer, & reinstall themselves as you try to remove them. Need to follow specific steps to get rid of them from all areas in the proper way. The Adaware type scanners aren't up for that. If you can write down the http address that comes up the most, probably the search page address - or otherwise get a name that pops up all the time. Then do a google search on that name or address plus the word 'spyware' you often can find the specific steps to remove the baddie. Also find the web site for a program called hijackthis! - it is a free small program that really helps to find these types of baddies. There is a German web site that will decipher the results you get, and tell you which lines are bad things in your computer registry. Of course messing with your registry can cripple your computer if you mistep, so be careful. --->Paul
