Yes, you can do it this way, but you will not get the benefits. A study was done years ago which showed you needed to remove all traces of the Dot 3 fluid if you wanted to utilize the non-moisture absorbing properties of a silicone fluid. I believe this study was funded by the military. Obviously your decision, but it convinced me that it was a waste of money and instead I just bleed my occasionally.
