hi temp paint

Looking to repaint my steam cleaner. I suppose I need Hi temp paint. Would rather not use spray cans. Can a person add something to regular enamel to make it hi temp? I have asked several auto parts guys that mix paint and have had no luck. Just looking for a quart of red.
