Tell me about it. Had another calf born today. Still have 70 cows to go. I'd like to see a few of them hit some warm ground. Manure out of the feedlots was about the right consistancy to load today anyway. Just had to be careful where I hauled it. An inch and three tenths of rain just before the snow didn't help that situation any. Look on the bright side though,at least you and I don't have a few hundred acres of fruit trees budding. Just heard on Farmweek that the wheat in Mississippi is in trouble from the cold even. It's heading and temps are below 30. Four years ago the first week of April,we dropped 18 calves on the ground in a three day icestorm,so this isn't that bad anyway. Just isn't gonna be a very good day for a consignment auction in Trufant tomorrow.
