Get the 7', every 6 times around the field, you've cut one complete trip around out. The guys are right, sharp knives adjusted right, and clean shiney guards. When I used to finish 1st cut, i'd "paint" on a light coat of oil on the mower, guards especially. Next time it was used, mow 10' in some weeds, it was clean, no rust. End of the year, same thing.
