I don't know what the tractor was, but I do know Rathdrum Prairie. Used to be the best bluegrass seed growing area in the world, and the farmers there did real well for 50 years. But if I understood what I read in the newspaper right, Idaho has banned field burning, so the Idaho guys will be in the same disadvantaged position as we are in Washington. There are still farmers trying to make a living growing grass seed, but it is real tough, since the seed yield is way less than half of what you would get if they would let them burn off the stubble and shock the perrenial plants. I suppose it won't be too many years until the whole Rathdrum Prairie will be suburbia. What a shame to waste good farm ground, but who can blame the farmers for selling out? The ground is way more valuable as housing spots than you could ever earn farming it. Hope you like Florida. One of my sons is going to Florida State in Tallahassee, and I spent a little time with him when he moved there last year. Pretty flat country...I think I would miss looking at my mountains! We are coming into the nice part of the year: I think it hit 70 today and it is supposed to stay nice thru Monday. Hope someone else recognizes the tractor. Good luck!
