iused another version of the same stuff called Marine Tex bought in boat stores and it works for blocks, gas tanks and just about anything else. Keyt is cleaning the application spot. No oil or grease. Use a heat gun or lamp to acceleerate curing and it will last forever. Used it on my case 580 in 1984 and it was still going strong when it was sold in 1999.
