We used to pull a 4 row no-till planter with a 1650 Oliver on rolling fields. Now pull a 6 row with a 4240 JD. I would say that is 20 more horse than we need. The 15 foot 750 drill is a nice match for the 4430, but that is probably also bigger than necessary.
