I know that some people don't care for Harbor Freight stuff, but I bought a 10,000 lb winch like the one above from them 2 years ago. It is mounted it on my 14,000 lb trailer, and we use ot a lot. We did add an extra 20 ft of cord to the remote hand control, for a total length of 32 ft. With this extra length of cord I can load a tractor or whaterver while keeping a safe distance away from the load, in case the cable were to break. We also installed a set of the plug in type jumper cable hookups at the rear of the towing vehicle to keep the battery on the trailer charged up whenever the trailer is in use. So far we have not had any problems with this setup at all. It has power in & out, and is able to freewheel too. A fairlead roller, and a mounting plate were included as well. At this time it is listed on their site for $399.99. If you want to check it out a link to it is below.
