How much of a market is there for custom round baling?. That migt be an oppurtunity for you if thats what you think you really want to do. If you plan on becomming a custom operator, I'd strongly suggest you find some custmers and buy a brand new or much newer baler. In this area, people are only interested in custom balers that have the rotory knives in them, this is feature the cuts the hay into short pieces before putting it into the bale. A local fellow had a Claas with the roto cut and it had a wrapper right on the back of it, he spent most all summer baling for people, but I don't know as he was making much money at it by the time he took out all his expenses.
