Look for brown spots, someones blood that has been sucked by the bed bug and craped on the bedding. They get you at night of course. Looking for fleas? Put a white towel on the floor and see if any dark dots start landing on it. If so move out now. Tip to leave roches at the motel. Keep you baggage closed with the cloths inside. Shake all you cloths out side at the end of the trip. OH yes don't use tap water to brush your teeth or get shower water in your mouth in many countries.
