Redwings. I have a narrow foot and my left ankle is weak. I can buy b width Redwing hightops that fit well and support my ankle. I've tried the large store cheap brands but they don't fit well. I don't particularly care for my boots well but the redwings hold up well for me. I tried some Redwing Goretex hightops twice. They were the most comforable shoe I ever wore but were a little heavy and hot. I got used to that but the soles didn't hold up. They were made of different material than the normal Redwings and fell apart in less than a year. the uppers were still perfect. At about $189 I'll go with the regular shoes. My wife and I each bought some Goretex boots from Sierra a few years ago, same story with the sole. ??? Phil
