We are STILL looking at some of the same snow banks that originated in November! It will be two weeks before I can get to where my airseeder is parked. May 20 to 25 is usually the best time to seed oats here. Oats don't stand late spring frost as well as some other crops. Also seeding a bit later gives an opportunity for some wild oat control preseeding.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
