My favorite tractor? That's an easy one. It's a 1957 Oliver Super88 Diesel that my uncle Don bought new. Dad bought it in 1964 after Don traded it in for a new tractor. It became the "big horse" on our farm for the next ten years and I spent many, many hours riding on it with dad. The fondest memories I have are of those spent with dad on that tractor. Like the Allan Jackson song says "a young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel......." I think most everyones favorite tractor is the one that dad had when they were young.
