A good ol' boy caught a pigeon years ago that had a leg band on it. He took the band off and it said "Wash., Biol, Surv." (Washington Biological Survey) with an address. He sent a note to that address: "Dear Sir, I caught one of your birds. I did like you said to do. I washed it, I bioled it, and I surved it. It tasted terrible. You should not try to fool people like that."
