Attack Of The Turkey Vultures!!

Something strange was just happening at my house. Sitting here in the kitchen on the computer at 11 on sunday and looking out the window to the farm yard... 2 maybe 3 turkey vultures were circling over me, sometimes swooping very close to the peaks of buildings and close enough for me to see the ugly red heads. I can't think of anything they'd be interested in here. I watched them for a good five minutes but they seem to have left now. It's a gorgeous blue sky day, you'd think they'd have a better place to hang out than here. Any one else had this happen?
