I have a custom plowing business going here in central Wisconsin. I do about 1000 acres a year of moldboard and chisel plowing. I have been charging $11 an acre for chisel and $13 an acre for moldboard plowing, and the customer supplies the fuel. This is by no means a primary source of income, just something I like to do. To be worthwhile, I would guess you need to charge $50 an hour or more for the work you are considering. Even if your equipment is paid for, etc., the wear and tear, and other uses of your time requires at least that amount per hour. Wayne
