I had 3 cord of wood to burn this year. I be lucky if I get 5 gal of ash, I put them into my fall compost pile, I put household garbage newpaper rip up paper lime any thing that composted..
other thing were are you plant your potatoes at. that best place to put them ash at real thick. then till them in.
at less keep potatoes bug of them potatoes patch too. as I found out years ago good luck happy garden
