Actually I agree that Japan makes "good" equipment. My point was aimed at those that are convinced if it ain't made in the US it is junk. They seem blind to the fact that a majority of the compact and subcompact tractors sold in the US under traditional "American" names are actually built in India, Japan and Korea. For some reason the green paint (or blue or red) fools them even though its cleanly stamped on the serial pad "Made in Japan". John Deere has made a mint playing on that ignorance with most of their investment being limited to stamping logos and spraying green paint.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
