I respect your opinion, you can do with your tractor as you like. I grew up on a farm and in later years got interested in tractors and enjoy restoring them. I also enjoy the folks that I have developed a friendship with over the years and think that this is one of the biggest benifits of the hobby. I live in a ranching community and there aren't many opportunities to participate in a field activity. I did attend the Des Moines tractor drive last year. They had about 500 tractors participating. I just went to observe and really enjoyed myself. I have to admit that I do struggle with folks that are heavily opinionated.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
