I guess you're welcome to your opinion, but so am I. These are very popular, and the one I participate in is sold out with a waiting list every year. I guess I wasn't fortunate enough to have the opportunity to farm for a living, so I do a few things to enjoy the company of some who do. Interestingly enough, very few farmers who are on our ride have ANY negative opinion about us wannabe farmers who participate. The vast majority of participants on our ride are farmers. A few people on the road get a little impatient, but the majority honk and wave and seem to enjoy the show. The routes are well marked and communicated to the local communities well ahead of time so if you are concerned about a hold up, you can plan an alternate route. Safety is absolutely the utmost priority.
