Farm I work for started last saturday. We're about an hour south of Rockford. Haven't really gotten hot and heavy with it yet, but when it dries out we'll be really putting some seed in the ground. Brand new JD 24-row, an older 16-row Kinze, and a back-up 16 Kinze if they want to run that too. I planted about 20 acres of corn yesterday with the Kinze just to get the feel of it. I had been running a field cultivator but they're going to stick me in a planter for evening work after my regular job. Take 'er easy and be safe.
