If nobody in the family is interested in the equipment, your best bet is an auction. If there is not enough to warrant an auction, then place the items in a consignment auction. Depending on where you are, a good place to find an auction company might be Midwest Auctions. They have listings for many of the auction companies. Think hard before you sell that Massey Harris Pony. It has probably been in the family for a long time, and is small enough to use as a riding mower on a large lot.
