A handy little gadget to have is a digital meter that plugs into your cigarette lighter. It tells the condition of your battery. It tells you how many amps is being drawn when the glow plugs are heating up. Mine reads about 11.4amps while waiting to heat up. Once it starts, it will read about 14amps. Really a handy cheap little gadget that you can buy at Wal-mart. Get one and you will love it. Wouldn't be without one. Good luck, Dick
