Does this truck have the clutch and brake master cylinders reversed from the location of the pedals. If so, check that the brake pedal shaft is NOT slipping in the lever that actuates the master cylinder. If this is happening you will never get the full stroke of the cylinder and the clutch will not release. Ford's cure for the problem is a new lever, but a little weld will do the job, just make sure the lever is in the right place before you stick it. I had the service bulletin somewhere but I think it got tossed out, I will check tomorrow.
