Just to add 2 cents to the cylinder situation, yes seals are expensive, and are a design of "different" ideas, i found it easier and cheaper to replace the cylinder with a North Amercian designed unit as the russian cylinder still has standard mounting hole sizes anyway, just might need a JIC to pipe adapter/ angled maybe, and a short piece of hose if the connections are at either end and not one end, as orginal.
