Here in Michigan it's illegal to single out a place that way. They have to do a total township reassesment or leave you alone. Kind of like Oregon,we are limited to 5% increase or the rate of inflation (CPI) whichever is less. The kind of work you are talking about is maintenance anyway and isn't taxable here.
