I always thought it was a tough machine, this place did nothing to maintain anything, you either did it yourself or it did not get done, can't tell you how many repairs I did on the trucks I drove. They ran this thing low on coolant, never changed the oil, grease, nothing and it ran a long time, I hate to see equipment abused, makes me want to hand them a shovel, then they'd appreciate that machine. I'm unfmailiar with the drive train, these must have come out in the late 70's, we had a Ford dealership, late 60's mid 70's, never saw one of those until the lumber yard. Motor is a tough one. Do use care getting in and out of that CL-40, don't recall a safety lock out for the levers, makes em a bit dangerous if you grab or bump into one while it's running, not hard to do either.
