Well Steve,I have to agree.But I dont understand why the starter is so high.We bought one for a Briggs motor 15 hp about a maoth or so ago and it was only 65 bucks.Oh well,have you considered maybe just changing the engine out?I just bought A new mower,dang near 1500 bucks.
