Over here in NE corner of wisconsin I haven't seen a snigle corn planter in the feild. As for drill,s ours and another one about 2 weeks ago are all i saw. I did see a few tractors outr woring the land, but as far as planted, we're about the only ones in the nieghborhood with anything in the ground. Don't know why either, ground's been fairly workable for a couple weeks now, although it did rain pretty good on Monday night. I'm taking a road trip tomorrow down to Cambridge, just above Milwaukee. I expect to see lots of tractors in the field down that way. We're gonna wait another week before we get too exited about getting the corn in. Must be what everyone else is doing too. May swith the 1855 over to 540 PTO this weekend and use it to haul some manure. typically a good job for our 285, but it has a fresh engine and that's just too much idleing to break it in right. Gonna pull our 18' spring tooth with the 285 for a while and rack up a few hours. Donovan from Wisconsin
