I am always intrigued by the concept of cheap horsepower/beating the system. I have not researched Belarus tractors, but they have a reputation for being somewhat crude. I have also observed them to develop significant oil leaks all over the tractor. By far and away the biggest factor to consider in buying a Belarus for long-term use, is parts availability. If a few years down the road you are unable to get parts, the tractor is WORTHLESS. Getting parts for our older domestic tractors is a big enough problem. Personally I would not buy a Belarus. Glenn
