The first Ford truck I owned, I remember a friend of my father, warning me to grease those kingpins, as he said they tend to freeze up. He ran a service station for many years, so I figured it best to keep em greased, but always wondered why they were so easily frozen up. '61-'66 Fords are one of my favorites, I'm currently running a 64 F-600, about 82,000 miles, and I've noticed that there seems to be a fair amount of parts available, I've seen some e-bay stores that appear to have quite a bit of N.O.S. parts for the older fords. Keep an eye out maybe you will find those parts out there somewhere. I've always wondered if there were a way to free those up once stuck, sounds like it could be a useful truck, very handy thing to have, made some decent money with mine already.
