My use of natural materials is not quite as old, but still nice. Every
spring I prowl the edges of my property, which also happens to be
the edge of a farm that dates back to 1830. I find the rocks the
farmers pulled from the fields, and some that clearly have tooling
marks on them. I built this flower garden for my wife and am
currently building a wall about 60 feet long and 4 feet high in some
parts. It might take me 10 years to collect the rocks.
