I had a '39 Plymouth 1/2 ton pickup that ran and had brakes, but I sold it before I got the lights wired. The last time I saw it, about 4 years ago, it had been made into a streetrod. 1939 was the first year of the new styling that started to make the trucks look different from the cars of that same era. The '37 and '38 model trucks looked almost the same as the '37 and '38 Dodge Brothers and Plymouth cars from the front. Tom
