Hi Allen, let me start by saying I know this is like apples and oranges. Last year I plowed and disked a 1 acre food plot for a very small covey of quail and a few turkeys we have around the house. After plowing with a Super C I pulled an 8' disk with the old H in 3rd. It beat the crap out of me and I learned why you don't put your thumbs inside the spokes of the steering wheel. After all the ice melted spring and before all the rains came {around Easter} I got in there a pulled the old disk over it to turn the stubble under from last years plot, and wow did it ever work up nice. After several pass's and then a few trips with a spike tooth harrow it looked like the infield of Wrigley field. Right now the milo and millet is about 8" high and the clover is just popping up. I know I cant compare my little plot to your He man farming but I think from my "small" expierence you will have much more fun with it when all that old sod is gone. Paul
