The manifold needs a high-temp coating. Eastwood Automotive Supplies carries pints of it, 2 types of grey for $15 ea and satin black for $20, which is the one I recommend. Do it before it gets dirty or rusty. Contact Eastwood at 800-345-1178 or find them on the web at www.eastwoodco.com
