I've had it happen off and on in the past 25 or so years I have baled hay. If in windrows then that can be a problem but if still just laying on the ground, let it dry a day or 2 then rake it up as fluffy as you can and let it sit a few ors or till dry and bale it. Most of the time you will lose a little quaitly but not much. If in windrows you need to turn the windrow a few times and then you can save it but it will not be as good as it would have been if just laying
